We believe in Preventative Medicine! Since animals age much faster than people, yearly checkups are very important. Most important in growing puppies and kittens are regular checkups to monitor adequate development and congenital diseases. Animals over 8 years old should be monitored by regular blood work as well. Problems such as diabetes or kidney failure - when diagnosed early - can be treated more effectively and prolong your pets life.

Vaccines:

Vaccines are important to protect your pet against infectious diseases. Vaccination protocols are tailored to your pet’s needs. Please ask us which vaccinations are important for your animal.

Animal Identification (Microchip):

Most animals that are lost do not find their way home. Especially cats are sometimes difficult to identify without being microchipped.

Most Animal shelters and Animal Control can read the microchip and return your friend to you.

Surgery:

We offer a large scale of surgeries which are performed in our fully equipped operating room. We monitor our patients throughout and after the surgery. We believe that animals recover best in their familiar environment - most patients are able to return home on the day of surgery – after being checked thoroughly by our veterinarian, of course. We will support and assist you in caring for your animal by phone.

Dentistry:

Dental health is very important. We have a state of the art dental machine with a high speed drill and are able to do extractions as well as scaling and polishing your pet’s teeth.

Radiography:

Our modern X-ray equipment allows an on-site diagnosis in many cases or referral if needed.

Pharmacy:

We have a well stocked pharmacy for your pet’s medical needs. Animals often need different medications and more importantly different dosages than people do. We are happy to answer your questions and find the right medication for your pet.

In House Laboratory:

We perform most laboratory tests while you wait such as Blood counts and chemistries, Lyme /Heartworm tests, Urinalysis, Fecal exams and more. Special tests are sent out overnight.
